On Saturday 15^th September and Saturday 22^nd, over 2000 children did an important test to decide if they can go to a grammar school. Most of our year 6’s did this test at: KGGS, Kings, and Bourne Grammar. Amber commented: “I was full of tension waiting for the test date but when I got there I was completely relaxed.”

India reported: “I was feeling almost dead inside with anticipation for the test to begin!”

The tension heightens as the children await the results of the test! Everyone will get the results on 15^th of October. Let’s hope for the best!

We interviewed some Y6s and these are their responses:

How did you feel?

Gabriel: “ Anxious because I wasn’t sure I would pass.”

Elizabeth: “I felt nervous and excited.”

Ruby: “Scared and joyful.”

Do you feel confident?

Gabriel: “I’m not sure.”

Elizabeth: “ I feel confident.”

Ruby: “Not really.”

Which school would you like to go to if you pass?

Gabriel: “Kings!”

Ruby: “KGGS!”

Elizabeth: “ KGGS!”

Amber: “Bourne Grammar!”

India: “ KGGS!”
